MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, and by preschoolers we mean kiddos from age 0 (including in-utero) through kindergarten.
We are moms, and we believe that better moms make a better world. MOPS is a grassroots movement that supports moms. MOPS groups are rallying women to be more honest, to feel more equipped and to find our identity by journeying along side one another.
A MOPS group is a dynamic, inviting environment where women can come just as they are to build friendships, be encouraged by each other and gain practical parenting strategies. Moms get together to share food, laugh and hear inspiring speakers. In a MOPS group, you experience authentic community, mothering support, personal growth and spiritual hope, all to help you be the best mom possible.
While moms are in a MOPS meeting, their children are lovingly cared for in the MOPS Kids program, in the room next door.
MOPS of Reading is a joint program of Christian Cooperative Preschool and Old South UMC. We are excited to connect local moms in this way!
MOPS meets the first and third Friday of the month from 10:00am to 11:30, September through May. Our first meeting of the year will be September 15th, 2017.
A $32 registration fee will cover your MOPS membership and materials for the year, and an additional $25 paid in September and in January will enable your children to attend MOPS Kids each semester.
